The Beauly Firth Swim
This was an Aban organised event, Johannes in charge, with about 260 people, including Mary, swimming across the Beauly Firth and back again.
The Highland Cross Duathlon
A volunteering day for Aban, Johannes's charity to assist in the annual Highland Cross charity event duathlon from the west coast of Scotland to the east. Aban received a brand new mini van in consequence of him organising a team of 20 volunteers for a 12 hour day.
Our job was to unload 500 or personalised bikes from these trucks and position them on these racks by numbers complete with yellow bibs and each competitors individual kit bag in readiness for their arrival after a 20 or so mile run through Glen Affric. Colossal job.

We had delightful visits again from Harry for 10 days in February and from Martha S in March . And fabulous conditions right up to closing in mid April.
