More ‘days here and there’!

Train Inverness to Aviemore and a gorgeous bike ride up to Rothiemurcus and along the back road to Nethybridge and Grantown-on-Spey.

Our bike trip on the back road from Rothiemurcus from to Grantown temporarily suspended
Old Belhaven pal Keith and his sister Sandra at her house outside Grantown

Lunch with old Belhaven pal Keith Chalmers Watson and his sister Sandra who lives up there. Then a hard ride against a stiff wind to Carrbridge from where we caught the train back to Inverness  and a ride up the hill to Balnafettack.

Days here and there! London

A trip to the big city started badly with a canceled (at last minute) Easyjet flight to Gatwick . Otherwise big success with a stunning performance of Guys and Dolls and a happy lunch with Harry and David Jackson the next day.

Evening with Jonny Wotherspoon

Jonny, an old pal of mine from Edinburgh legal ( and squash ) days and his wife Alice invited us out to their house Kintarlity close to the river Beauly 11 miles out of Inverness. A lovely dinner was preceded by a canoe trip on the River for the 3 of us. Spectacular.
