Back on the road and we feel fit . But 800 odd miles to go .
Our dear friends Mike & Joan who introduced us initially to the UGRR and did the whole Mobile , AL to Owen Sound , Ont 2 years ago have been incredibly kind to us . They helped us leave our car at self storage and put us up most comfortably in their lovely house outside Cincinnati. We also had the delight of their company , and tour guiding expertise and local knowledge the next day, for the first 45 miles of the trip. The top photo above shows the start of the Little Miami bike trail ( on old track of the long abandoned Pennsylvania Railroad )which we have had for the first 100 miles or so . A beautiful paved surface , and of course no traffic . Lunch at Corwin where Mike & Joan had left their car . On to Xenia for the night and now in London , OH .

It was a delight to see you again, and to get a chance to visit and catch up with one another. And to actually ride a bit with you topped it off! We sure were jealous in Corwin as we watched you ride away into this next adventure! Enjoy, and safe travels!
